Savanna's Law for Oklahoma
Protecting families. Supporting survivors. Holding repeat domestic violence offenders accountable.

Petition signatures were formally delivered to Oklahoma legislators on February 16, 2026, and the full legislative packet reached all five leadership offices by March 12, 2026. In the 2026 session, a Persistent Domestic Violence Offenders Registry bill (HB 1322) passed the Oklahoma House 93–0 on March 10 and moved to the Senate Judiciary Committee, where it remained when the session ended. The registry is still not law — which is why the pressure continues.
Domestic violence doesn't end after one offense.
Domestic violence is a persistent public safety issue in Oklahoma. Too often, repeat offenders continue to cycle through communities with limited transparency, delayed coordination between agencies, and no clear system to identify high-risk individuals.
Survivors
are left without adequate protection.
Families
are left without answers.
Law enforcement
is left responding without critical information.
What Savanna's Law would do
Savanna's Law is a proposed policy framework developed by Okies First to strengthen public safety and prevent repeat domestic violence. This proposal is designed to close dangerous gaps while respecting due process and privacy.
- 1Establishing a public registry for repeat domestic violence offenders
- 2Creating a high-risk offender designation for individuals with multiple convictions
- 3Providing automatic alerts to law enforcement when responding to calls involving high-risk offenders
- 4Improving coordination between courts, OSBI, and law enforcement agencies
- 5Protecting survivor safety and sensitive personal information
- This is a concept legislative draft, not an officially filed bill
- This initiative is for education, advocacy, and public input
- The goal is to provide lawmakers with a clear, workable framework
- This is not a criminal expansion or political attack
- This does not expose survivor information
Savanna's Law is about prevention, accountability, and safety — not politics.
