County Advisory Board

Two seats per county. All 77 counties.

The County Advisory Board keeps Okies First rooted in every county, not just the metro corridors. Advisors help us educate, inform, and empower Oklahomans — and surface local facts we'd otherwise miss. This is a sound board, not a second job: about four to eight hours a year, plus short pulse responses.

How the Board comes together

Advisor seats are advisory-only until the Board reaches 40 seated counties. Voting power is phased in gradually so the 154-seat rollout never leaves the PAC without leadership.

Oct 16 – Nov 16, 2026

Wave A begins

Advisors seated in roughly 15–20 counties. The Chair may name acting Regional Officers only in regions that already have seated Advisors. Still advisory only — no Board vote.

Jan – Mar 2027

40 counties seated

Advisors elect four committee seats (two men, two women — no titles yet). Those four sit with the Chair as the start of the Officer Committee. Acting Regionals stay acting.

May – Oct 2027

55–60 counties seated

Advisors elect the remaining four committee seats. The Chair and the eight then appoint standing Regional Officers. Still no Treasurer / Vice Chair / Secretary labels yet.

Nov 2027 – Sept 2028

All 77 counties, 154 seats filled

Seated Advisors vote which of the eight becomes Treasurer, Vice Chair, Secretary, Outreach Coordinator, and which remain Committee Man/Woman. First statewide briefing.
